Origin:  The Raw LUXE hair is sourced from India while the Silky Raw Extensions Natural Wave and Wavy Silk are sourced from Cambodia.

Texture: It is worth noting our very own LUXE feels silky smooth upon the first touch, Coarser LUXE textures are also available but not guaranteed. The hair strands are finer compared to our other wavy patterns. The Silky Raw Cambodian Natural Wave is coarse and soft to the touch as it mimics the natural hair texture. The Raw Cambodian Wavy Silk is the coarsest texture out of the three mentioned previously.

Wave Pattern: Raw LUXE wave pattern varies from a straight/wavy to a medium wavy pattern. Silky Raw Cambodian Natural Wave will have a slight wave pattern for the most part. The Raw Wavy Silk will have a medium wave pattern.

Color Tone: The LUXE Wavy will have the most variety in color tones. It varies from a dark black to a medium to reddish brown. Color tones on the other wavy patterns do vary from natural dark brown to medium brown.

80% of the hair we ship out will have a natural dark brown or black color tone. We will sometimes receive donor hair with medium to light brown color tones. Please add your color request in the notes section on the cart page. If you plan to lighten your raw hair, please ask for a lighter color tone for a much easier color experience.

Absolutely, every bundle we carry is authentic natural hair that will react just like your natural growing hair. Yes, all of our wavy and curly textures will always revert back to its natural state when washed. Your Silky Hair can also be colored. We do recommend the assistance of a professional colorist when coloring raw hair. Tip: Use a higher volume developer in shorter increments when coloring raw hair.

Processing times for full lace wigs can take up to 25 business days. During major holidays, processing times for wigs can take up 120 business days. Orders are not processed on weekends and/or major holidays.

HD Lace (High Definition lace) is the thinnest lace you will find on the market. As a result, HD lace will offer you the most undetectable application with minimal customization needed. HD lace can be used by all skin tones. One thing to note is that HD lace is extremely delicate and will rip easily if not handled with care.

Transparent Lace sold at Silk Sovereign Hair Extensions offers a high quality swiss lace that is light brown in color. This lace is not as thin as HD lace but is much more durable. To wear, transparent lace will need to be tinted using a lace tint or make up powder to match your skin tone One of the major benefits of transparent lace is its ability to be tinted to match any skin color.

Both lace types are excellent and will give you a fantastic installation.

A closure covers the top front part of your head.  It is designed to cover the section of your head where your part will be. The bigger the closure, the more part coverage you have.  We carry 4 “by 4” and 5” by 5” Closures. All of our lace products are made with luxury Swiss lace.

A lace frontal covers the entire front perimeter of your head from ear to ear.  Frontals have a dimension of 13 inches to 4 inches. The versatility of frontals are endless because you are able to part it in any direction.  All of our lace products are made with luxury Swiss lace.

Full Lace Unit  is a glueless wig  that allows for endless parting, styling and unimaginable versatility.  The hair on the wig is hand ventilated to the holes in the luxury Swiss lace. Our full lace wigs come in 3 sizes- Small (21.5” head circumference). Medium (22.5 head circumference) and Large ( 23” head circumference).  They also come with combs and and an adjustable strap in the back.  You may also order two lace colors-transparent (for fairer skin tones) and Medium brown ( for medium to dark brown skin tones) Each wig is custom made so you can request to have the combs unattached.

Virgin Loose Curl: Soft, loose ringlets, close to a 3B hair type. Hair can be colored, straightened or curled.

Virgin Deep Curl: Virgin, soft, tighter ringlets looser near the top and tighter at the bottom, close to a 3C hair type. Hair can be colored, straightened or curled.

Virgin Soft Kinks: Virgin, soft yet coarser than the Deep Curl, tight ringlets from top to bottom, close to a 4A hair type. Hair can be colored, straightened or curled.

Natural Wave (Best Seller): Soft, slightly coarse to the touch, easy to blend, naturally modest wave pattern. Hair has a medium to low luster.

Natural Straight: Soft, thick, and easy to blend. The hair has a bone straight pattern.

Wavy Silky: Soft, thick, and slightly more coarse than the Natural Wave. The hair is easy to blend and has a deep/tight wave pattern.

Curly Wave: This texture starts off with a deep wave and turns into a soft curl. It is a coarser texture, thick, easy to blend, and has a curl shaped wave pattern.

Raw Blonde: Hair lifted to 613 blonde, thick hair, soft, slightly coarse.

All textures can be colored, straightened or curled.

SEA hair stands for South East Asian Hair.  This Is hair that is sourced from the South East Asian region. of the world  It includes Cambodian, Burmese, LAO, Malaysian and Vietnamese Hair. So technically, any hair that is sourced from these countries are considered SEA Hair.

Yes. SSH is 100% unprocessed hair that can be colored and or bleached any level desired. However when coloring hair we recommend that you consult with a professional.

Absolutely, treat this hair like your own hair. Use good quality shampoo and conditioning products. Check out our Hair product line for the best results. Shampooing & Conditioning your hair is very important to keep it soft and manageable. We recommend deep conditioning your hair once a week or bi-weekly, but avoid using oil or heavy styling products.

With good maintenance, this hair can last a lifetime. We put no expiration date on our hair. Please treat this hair as your own. Please remember that excessive heat and /or color can/will result in the reduction of its natural pattern of the hair.

Any hair that has been manufactured and stitched onto a weft is entitled to experience minimum shedding. Also if you cut your tracks you may experience shedding due to the fact the weft is now broken and strands are easier to slide out. If this happens, seal the wefts to prevent hair from shedding. To help with shedding each raw bundle is double weft. However, to prevent any and all shedding we recommend that your stylist upon the installation, stitch and knot AROUND the weft and not through the weft of the tracks (if a sew in install is being done).This will definitely help prevent shedding.

Remember, proper maintenance is extremely important and advised.
